I am planning to attend an Animal I.D. Informational Meeting sponsored by the Independent Cattlemen of Iowa (ICI), tonight in Lamoni, Iowa, at the Lamoni Livestock Auction. The ICI supports voluntary animal ID only. Keynote speakers are: Derry Brownfield, radio personality and Ray Cunio of Citizens for Private Property Rights. Also invited for commentary is Steve White, the Iowa Department of Agriculture Animal ID Coordinator. I will take notes and report back on the meeting.
